Hey! I'm Trapti
I am a Frontend Engineer with 7 years of experience building content websites, SaaS applications, bespoke animations, and more. Analyse designs with a product mindset. Collaborate with designers, backend developers and managers. Prioritise Accessibility, SEO, Performance, and Maintainability.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, I spent 2.4 years working in the same industry. Then I called it quits because I realized that wasn't the right path for me. After careful consideration, I transitioned my career to software development. Above all else in software, my heart belonged to the frontend. I learned everything I needed and got hired by a startup in Gurugram in 2015 as a frontend developer.
My blog is where I document and publish what I learn. I am published author at CSS-Tricks, Statuscode(Medium publication), Soshace, dev.to. I'm also creating video content now.
I work with companies and agencies around the world, building Web user interfaces. To collaborate with me, drop me an email at hello@trapti.dev or reach out to me via Twitter DM , providing all the relevant information.

This picture is me giving my first ever talk at Quintype office on “Thinking in CSS grid”. Later I published this talk’s content as a blog on medium.com. Later, a renowned publisher called StatusCode asked about featuring this blog on their platform. This experience took my confidence to the next level, motivating me to write more.
In this process I wrote a couple of paid blogs as well which are on CSS-Tricks, Statuscode(Medium publication), Soshace, dev.to. In this website, I cover two categories: Tech and non-tech. Tech category is mostly what I learn or how to create demos. The non-tech category primarily covers topics such as freelancing, travel, and personal growth.

Love for SVG & Animations (CSS & GreenSock)
Out of everything in frontend development, SVG and web animations are definitely my favorite. At a conference in 2017, I witnessed Sarah Drasner discussing it and it blew my mind. In 2019, when I took a break from work, I learned about SVG and animations (CSS, GreenSock), created a lot of demos and shared on social media. Spent a good amount of time learning, working, experimenting.
I started getting gigs for this work. Various newsletters featured my demos, and people added my creations to many CodePen collections. I also help people in GreenSock forum whenever I get time. This forum is a gem of good people and I am recognised as a specialist there. I write about SVG and Animations in my blog and YouTube channel.
